Thats nuts, if thats how they install the dash, i would hate to see how to remove it.

GM tends not to build different trims/sub-models in discrete batches. An LS will follow an SS thats behind a pair of LT's. Often their lines even run a mix of different models for different brands (and not always on the same platform either, I've seen a Volt following a Malibu down the line at one plant). So it would be extremely unlikely for GM to have a run of Z/28's. The C7 is different because its the only car being built at the plant, and there aren't any sub models for it at the moment (only Stingrays, no Z06's, ZR1's, or GS's).

That said, there is a documentary out there (Ultimate Factories I believe) where they did a show on the building of the Camaro a few years ago.

I watched the Camaro factory video. But it would still be nice if the Z/28 were given some special documentary coverage
