catch can LLT w/high mileage

hey all, i was wondering if its to late to buy a catch can for my 2011 6er. it currently has 50k and counting.

Never too late but you may want to do an upper induction cleaning first. I'm sure someone will post up the link to the DIY for you. I gotta run right now.

Treat it with a good amount of SeaFoam to clean out the top

sandblast the intake valves. I haven't done it yet since I've had a catch can on since day 1 but me and my buddy did it to his 500+ rwhp 335i bmw and it made a huge difference all around.

Never too late for a catch can. Better now than later. Once installed follow the instructions in this thread.

I just bought mine like a month ago for my 2011. I've got 29k. It's never a bad time to install a CC. Take your car to the dealer and have them clean your engine. Or use seafoam if you're able to follow directions. Either option is not terribly expensive and will probably help a lot with how your car currently runs. Seafoam is obviously going to be cheaper. I think my dealer quoted 150-200 to do the job.

Here's a link on seafoam that's very helpful.
