I Never Expected This Reaction - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

When I purchased my Camaro I was impressed with the power, the handling, and fabulous looks. But I never expected the reaction from others to my car.

So yesterday, heading down the road by me, I am running a few car lengths behind a gorgeous brand new Corvette. It was a copper-color convertible, with the top down. I noticed him because he turned in front of me at a light.

A few miles down the road we pass a few teenagers (boys) coming home from school (we have year-round schools around here). They wave at ME! NOT THE Vette, but ME! Of course I waved back.

Gotta love my Camaro. This is just one of so many similar encounters. Folks just love the car. I purchased a car but I own an icon.

it's happened to me a ton of times too. get an exhaust upgrade and i swear it'll be 100X worse. with this dual mode exhaust everyone can hear me coming. they turn right away just to see what the sound is coming from.

And then when they see the camaro, get a ton of waves and thumbs up... took it downtown and i felt like a celebrity haha

i've had people hang out of their car taking pictures with their phone of mine. who doesn't love attention? ha!
