Speeding Ticket!

Yesterday after leaving work I was clocked doing 67 in a 45.. Cop takes my license back to the cruiser. Then he comes back and says, "keep it closer to the speed limit and thanks for letting me look inside the car." NO TICKET! Woo Hoo!

That was nice of the MAN. The break of a life time. 22 over would have been costly.

Heh heh I got the same ticket and it cost me $245 and since I went to court to pay it they knocked off the points because I have not had a ticket in 20 years, even though I had to pay it is like it never happened on my record since they didn't record it on my record.

Same with me, Went to court and 91 in a 65 was reduced to a seat belt violation- 0 points. Never just pay the fine, you can probably get it reduced.

I too, was a lucky dog. Returning from Daytona, I passed a PU that was driving somewhat erratically, and speed up-slow down. The Sheriff got us both.

I could not find my insurance card, to add to my problems. After a fashion, I rooted thru the glove box and located it, about the time the deputy returned.

He sez, You can show me the card, and I will change the ticket from "no insurance" ($10) to speeding, ($159), if you wish.. The fellow in the PU is not so lucky, I am taking him to jail, no D/L, etc.

I donno if God drives a Camaro, but He does not drive a Ford PU, with a PR flag hanging from the rear view mirror.....

Agreed. That can't be 35 points, because then the state would have sent someone to your house to personally rip up your license, all the while laughing at you. Then, they would have b--ch slapped you for such a terrible crime. LOL. However, I guess it would have taken the next 100 years to get rid of those points. Or you could have just done cleanup on the thruway in those orange jumpsuits for the next 75 years.

Ny

10 = $300
20 and higher forget it.

I had a 91 in a 55 wayy back, paid $600 + $55 court charge, then the DMV fines you an additional $300 for having points on your license.
