I called my dealer and he said their guy has not run the report yet, but when they get some info he will fax me the report.

He has a guide of 4 and I am #2. (Small town dealer. All the bigger ones would not honor GMS, he would.)

I don't understand why it is so hard for SOME dealers to keep their customers updated? It's called customer service!!! You've got someone willing to spend $30,000 to $40,000 to a dealer and they can't even give that customer a heads up?

My dealer has been pretty good with answering my questions and keeping me informed. (Even though some of the information is old thanks to this site)

Just plain lazy!

Mine got picked up in this round of consensus as well. I won't know the TPW for a while, but it should be delivered in time to do my break in miles on the Hot Rod Power Tour!

By the way, mine will be a Victory Red 1SS 6 speed with no options (I ordered a Hurst shifter....).

Mine went in to and its a v6 but i'm also the only camaro ordered at my dealer he said and this is the dealer talking so maybe

but mine should get there before they even get there showroom car he thinks and my dealers pretty on top of the camaro stuff

We got 3 Camaros in the April ordering and already have the 1 for March. It will be interesting to see if the V6 constraint is lifted. I am sure I have customers that are hoping it is and some that are hoping it isn't.

The people who ordered V6's and were number one at the dealership deserve their cars. I can't help that you were number 6.

I called the GM at my dealer (my regular contact) at 11:30am today and asked if he got a Camaro in the consensus. He hadn't looked at it. Promised to look at it after lunch, and get back to me. Never did call me back.

I'm pissed because now I have to wait until Monday.

Well, my dealer said they received 1 Camaro in the recent consensus.

Actually the response was that they would be having one pulled, but they wouldn't know which one until next week.

This brings up a question.

I was #1 at the dealer to order. I've come across someone else here at Camaro5 that is #3. We've been eMailing one another and it seems they entered all 4 of their Sold Orders as Priority #1.

If the dealer doesn't submit my order to be produced first manually (since their reply made it sound as if they had no idea which one was going to be pulled for production) how will everyone having Priority #1 affect mine being produced first?

Will GM pull from the Workbench randomly (depending on constraints) from the 4 orders, or will it pull them in the order they were entered (by date)?

This is all assuming there are no constraints that week that would prevent mine from being built first anyway.

What I do not understand is why everyone says or thinks there is a constraint on "Sold-Orders" for the V-6. This Constraint ONLY applies to V-6's the dealers what to order for their lot, for their inventory to sale to people who come to their dealership, again this does not applie to "Customer SOLD-ORDERS." I have a 2LT/RS on order and it has benn pulled (2-19-2009), and I should be delievered by the first two weeks of April. I am/was the first to order from the Dealership in El Centro, CA. and I will be the first one here with this Great Car.
