another cancellation....for now
Well, I've been missing from this great forum for three to four weeks.
On April 18th, I purchased a new 2009 Harley Davidson Street Glide. On April 20th....I called my Chevy Dealer and cancelled my Camaro order. During that call, before I cancelled, he told me that he just got my allocation and could now order my Camaro...GO FIGURE! I told him the guy that is line behind me was going to be one very happy person. Oh well, I made the decision to buy the Harley, and to use the $15,000 I saved (from not buying the Camaro) to get my '67 Camaro RS on the road. I'll be checking back here and when I actually start on the '67, I'll be looking into the First Gen section for lots of help. As a side note: My buddy got his 2010 Camaro SS/RS last Tuesday and took me for a ride on Thursday. WOW! That car is awesome. I'm happy for all of you that are getting yours. You'll be satisfied. he actually wanted me to drive it, but I told him I would drive it after he breaks it in. Here's a few pics of my new bike. It has a few goodies already added. More to come.

You are the third person this month to tell me a similar story. :(
In any case, I'm very happy you have made a decision that works for you! Just watch out for them crazy drivers that don't pay attention. |

Our putters are important, glad I got my new one last year because it will go so well in the garage beside our new Camaro. We must have our toys! BTW I like your screamin eagle intake....

Damn, Nice Bike. I tell you there is so much more profit on a Bike sale. $20K + for that, think how many more parts and engineering goes into cars and they do not cost much more than your bike, unreal! Harley will NEVER go out of business.

Good for you! I have a Dyna and just got back from a bike trip to New Orleans. A friend that went rented an 09 Street Glide, that bike is awesome for long trips, his had cruise control and the cd player. Every time we pulled in to gas up he'd have the stereo cranked. Street Glide is definitely my next bike.
