I've unfortunately decided against purchasing this product. I don't have time to swap lights out and going back and forth to the post office with it should it happen to me. I'm just going to get some LED bulbs with resistors and call it good ...I just can't take the chance on this $400 goodie with a hope and a prayer and only a 1 year warranty that costs extra.

I reckon it doesn't matter much to me for a while. My car was sandwiched on the highway this morning.

It really doesn't look too bad with the flexibility of the front and rear fascias, but the damage is all underneath. The lights survived but that doesn't change my mood much.
Now it's a +$30K wrecked car. When I can I'll get better pix. |

Geez man, that definitely did some damage. Ugh, I'm sorry to hear about that, as I remember you saying you just got your car not long ago. I hope it gets fixed up better than before. You may even be able to get some aftermarket parts (diffuser, trunk lid, etc.) installed for the same of less than quoted for the OEM parts. Good luck and I hope it gets fixed ASAP, and you can continue enjoying it.

How about if I connect the power cable to the amplifier positive lead?
I might try that in a few days. I been using the camaro every day, so I haven't had a dead battery for a while, but when I leave it 2 days or more, he camaro struggles to start. Will report back when I connect to the amplifier.

There's very few parts being replaced They're replacing the cat-back system because of the crushed garbage can near the exhaust tip for $1500. I can definitely have a nicer cat-back system for less than that if I can choose one before they order it tomorrow. The others are basically the front and rear fascia and diffuser. I can't find a diffuser I like better than what's on it so I'll wait. Everything else is structure work. I am going to have them give me the head and fog lights so I can install the halos. Then they can put them back in and install the new front end. I wanted a ZL1 front end but, if I get one, I want it attached to a ZL1. I don't wanna be a poser. I am thinking about custom crash bars with really long spikes now. |

With 1500 dollars you have a lot of choices on aftermarket cat backs
