When you can manage a square set of tires it will provide the best results. Take note that the square part of the equation is invalid when either rim or tire size changes. Strething one set of tires only is almost as much of a difference as overall dimentional changes front to rear.

Cody, im not sure what you're problem is,but would you like to settle this at the track? I will be at Fontana Aug. 11th So bring what ever set up you want, and we will see what the correct set up is. Here is a little video of why C5 gave me homepage(thanks C5) March 2013.This isn't because the tire set up is wrong!

Sure sounds like they don't give a shit to me.

Corner.

Obviously your 10 years of track time is nothing compared to this guy's 10 years of internet knowledge.

And you need to read more unless you're going to tell me they used a smaller tire in the rear which is why it's stretched. Or I can carry on talking about the fact that the rear wheel is wider thus the same size tire stretching to fit it.

Obviously not.

I posted a video from the internet.

Which is where you get all your information.

So it has to be true.

Now you're just confusing common sense with actually giving a ****. You can defend the poor excuse of tires sizes all you want allthough it's works it's by no means optimal. After all the engineers said that the splitter & spoiler aided in traction and that this was the best choice. Funny that the rear spoiler was added as an artistic touch yet now is a fully functional item on a track ready car.

You continue to make yourself look even more uneducated.

Keep going, this is good.

I still fail to see your argument here.

If the 305 is better performing on the 1LE, at the retail savings of $54 per car, why would they slam a 285 on it?

Now looks are a different story...
If this is true then why didn't they do the same on the Z28?

500+ horsepower needs more tire.

Post should have stated narrowest tire that will hold the car.
