If I ordered the Satin Nickel Fuel Door, do I get the stock one too? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I ordered the Satin Nickel Fuel Door with my order, but am having second thoughts about it. I might like to have the stock one to trade out and see.

My dealer says that I don't get the stock one with it when the car comes in, but I can order a stock fuel door separately through them.

Is this true? If I paid extra for the premium fuel door on my Camaro order, they don't include the stock door too?

That doesn't seem right...

If that is a dealer installed option, you get the original fuel door.

Just like the wheels, if you get the upgraded ones, dealer installed, your supposed to get the original ones on the car.

You really should get the original door as well. Especially if you have to bring it back to have them install the new one. It would be different if you ordered it and it came with the new one already on, then it would be likely that you wouldn't get the original door...even though you should. But if you bring your car back and they swap them out, by all means you should get the original door.

Yes, if you order the door when you order the car, you get both. Same with the Rims, if you order the upgraded rims. And also, same with the Engine Cover. If you upgrade to the color matched engine cover, you get both of them also.

I ended up "Selling Back" my RS styled Rims to the dealer to help knock down the price of my ride because I got the upgraded rims with it also. It might not be an option everyone would take, but it helped bring the price down to a more bearable total for me. To each their own. So someone in the Tucson AZ area is driving a non-RS, with RS rims on it, thanks to yours truly. I'm sure the dealer added it to the price tag though.

Yes you do. I had my dealer "include" it as part of my offer which they accepted. My original door was in the box the satin nickle one came in, didn't even have to ask.

My engine covers are still in the box that the painted ones came in. Anyone need a set? You can buy the satin door cheaper from http://store.gmpartshouse.com/partlo...subcat3=148638

You save about $30 dollars.
