Tony,

Is this going to be something we can do (with a kit from you) or something we need to send to you?

Looks awesome! What's the pricing going to be like and will they be plug and play?

Thanks again to all!

As I stated before, the plan is that these will be sold complete for a plug-and-play, drop-in swap. There will be a core charge that can be refunded when I receive your lights complete and in good condition.

So, we'll pay you a core charge...you'll send us out the product, and then you'll refund us the "insurance" cost once we send you our lights in exchange for the new ones?

or...

You'll charge us a core charge...and we send you our lights to do the install...and then send them back to us along with a refund?

My question is...because this is a daily driver of mine and I want to know if I'll have to keep her off the road until things get delivered, built, and reshipped out.

my understanding of a core charge is that you order the new lights and pay a bit extra (core charge) so when you get the new lights and install them it ensures you send your factory lights back to him. If you want to keep your lights then you lose your core charge. Tony won't be doing enough volume, or doesn't want to put himself out there financially enough where he has to order stock replacement lights to work on and send out to customers. He's just going to get the lights people send to him and work on those and send out the modified lights. Hope that explains the core charge reasoning and process.

Is there a pre-order list for these? I'd like to order them as soon as possible.

Sounds great. Are you going to have RS and no RS kits?

Oh and +1 for preorder/group buy.

No, but, if you send back a non-RS core set, there will be an extra charge to black out the chrome.

The lenses are the same, if that is what you were getting at.

Is there a guesstamation (not holding you to it) of what this will cost around? $200, $400...??? just wondering. I will pay the core charge and keep my existing lights, because of stupid NJ inspection laws. I can see it now, in 2015 i got to get inspected and i fail because my tail lights don't meet some stupid regulation. Better to pay now then to have a dumb "Rejected" sticker on my windshield.

Exactly. You install the lights purchased and when the vendor gets your stock lights, core charge is refunded.
