Night Fury Cam W/ TSP Headers
First off want to get a big shout out to Speed Inc. in Schaumburg IL for getting me in and out and the great customer service! Car is a 2010 SS M6, just bought it a month ago with 5800 miles. Mods are;
Night Fury Cam Melling High volume pump C5R timing chain Air Raid CAI TSP 1 7/8 headers without cats GM performance exhaust The car drives pretty much like it did stock, and as far as gas mileage is concerned, on the 10hr drive there I averaged 23MPG on the way home I averaged 21MPG's so I was pretty happy! |

Do you have any surging ( I kind of like the surging)? How is the idle? Do u have any idle vids?
Besides, sensational! I bet your ride is awesome and has a great performance improvement! |

The only surging that I get with my night fury is if I let the clutch out and try to just idle. I also have the TSP headers with no cats. My exhaust is Solo performance exhaust. That is to be expected with any cam with a lope though. Once you come off of idle it is completely smooth.
Here is a idle clip of my night fury. Last edited by BigRed; 03-21-2014 at 09:33 PM. |

Only 456 HP? I've never seen a Night Fury cam give that low of numbers. They have all been a consistent 480+. Is this tuned also?

There dyno reads low, they have tuned my car also. Mine made 440hp 426tq on there dyno. They seem to avg 450-460 on bigger cam setups over there, so he is right in line with how there dyno reads.

I think most guys that hit the 480HP area also have ported heads and throttle body but I could be wrong. I do have a question for you other guys though with a cam, when putting it in neutral and coming to a stop does your engine stay "revved" till a complete stop? |

Hey guys. For those of you with lower than average post cam/header mods, what were your numbers pre mods? I'm getting some work done on my 2010 ss, stick and pre numbers came in at 368/372. What you guys think? Thanks.
