Pro charging a 2010 camaro

I'm looking to procharge my new camaro when I get it. But I am unsure of what else I need to do to the car to make it work the best. I don't want to run very high boost at all. Under 10 psi. Do I have to upgrade the fuel system or the cam shaft or the heads. Can someone help me? I want to know if I can get away with just the procharger and the car still be reliable.

That looks really good. Does procharger sell a kit like that?

Add the injectors that come with whatever kit you get and maybe a boost a pump for security. Supercharger kits are made to throw on stock cars. BTW I think the 91 camaro has different mounting brackets for their supercharger than our fifth gens. Check the older model subforums for people with personal experience on your platform.

Ussually,a supercharger kit includes the injectors and sometimes a boost a pump so that you can still use the stock fuel system. This would only work if your car is bone stock and run 5-8psi of boost. Most gives you a decent tune.

If you install headers, perf. heads, and cam pkg, you would need to run even bigger injectors and a fuel pump ugrade aswell, also a custom tune would be required.

Procharger,ECS,Vortech has some nice kits.
Jannetty Racing also has a nice Vortech based kit available.

ECS is top notch. I like their kits more than procharger kits. Procharger is just a brand name like NOS. The ECS paxton kits are top notch and you can't go wrong with them, plus the service is the best around.

Probably going to want to upgrade axles too, and tranny. From what I've heard people have been able to snap the axles on bone stock cars when they go to the track, so when you're pushing 200+ hp more than stock it's a no brainer

I know the kit is for a 5th gen. I own a 91 rs 5.0 right now. But I will be purchasing a 2010 2ss within the next month. So I'm trying to learn as much about the fifth gens as possible.

Besides putting a S/C on the car, is there anything specific you want to know about the car?
