^nice another EVH fan here. I would love to have that gear. Guitar is something that can take you from having a bad day to a good day. And from what I've seen there apears to be a lot of good musicians here on C5, keep up the good work.

Within the theme of this post, there is a piece airing on the TV news today about my non-profit that gives guitars to kids/teens who are at risk of depression. I thought I'd share it here?

I've worked with a three of the world's great guitar players. Childhood friend, Rusty Burns, of Point Blank and Buddy Whittington, formerly of John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers. Yeah, a local friend had Clapton's job for 12 years. Now another local friend, Rocky Athas, plays for Mayall.

Great stuff.

I haven't picked up a set of drum sticks in over a year or sang in front of an audience in about that much time too. Which is scary, I am singing this coming weekend at my parents 50th wedding anniversary. <-- My pops is a country singer going back 40 years so it always makes me nervous to sing in front of him.

Good luck! I know that feeling, I play acoustic shows and do stuff at home, but I play in a metal band once a year around halloween (we used to play a show every weekend). My right arm always gets tired halfway through the set, cant play a 14 song metal set once a year without practice in between haha.

My uncle who is amazing, always wants me to jam with him and it scares the crap out of me haha

There will also be close friends of the family there. One of them has a son from a Grammy Nominated/Mtv award winning band. I think I may have a little stage fright!
