Agree with the above except if the camaro comes priced as we are all guessing, it will be the best deal on the market ever... willing to overlook the gift for a well priced fully loaded camaro

"once or twice a year you you put a conditioner on and it will last forever. but i also think that most of the cars you saw with cracked seat coverings were vinyl. because in my experience leather lasts very well"

I've followed the instructions in my owners manual to the letter about caring for and cleaning the leather seats in my Z28. My driver's seat still has cracks in the leather. NEVER AGAIN will I get leather seats. Period.

So getting the gauges from the dealer would be easy & install would not be complicated. Does this make sense?

I hope so, I could care less about all that other stuff. But I know gauges w/ sensors & wires & cut here drill there can be complicated and expensive. Especially if a dealer does it for you.

Just so you realize, if you take 25 billion, split it three ways (for the real domestics), then divide by 300 million americans, it comes out to $27 per person. I think we can all afford that to help counter the competitive disadvantages our country puts our own automotobile industry in.

Here's a good question for you all. If you order LT2 or SS2 and you do not want the auxilary gauges or bluetooth could you possibly choose to not get them and get your money back for these options?

My gut reaction to this would be that yes, you can probably delete the gauges but not the bluetooth and, no, you probably won't get any money back. Just my guess, based on absolutely nothing.

I think the stuff GM used for my "leather" seats is probably old vinyl left over from the 70's that they used for seat covers back then. It's absolutely turned me against leather. Cloth seats are the only way to go for me.

Yeah. If anyone who buys a 2SS just hates leather, Ill trade ya. No Problemo.

And can somebody tell me if you can get remote start on a 1SS? Is it part of the convenience and connectivity package?
