Are LLT and LFX cams the same. vong seems to imply that they aren't, but I really don't know.

So have I. The first set they gave me were for an LLT which was back in November. Didn't fit so we had to send them back. Almost got a new set but then they had to change the design because some people were having problems with them so the new cams have only just come out.

No, they're not the same. The oil return gallery of the cams are in different positions.

So after 4 long months of waiting we finally started fitting the cams then this happens...

I couldn't freaking believe that they didn't fit!!! They had my stock cams to work with and still got it wrong, absolutely unbelievable.

Now my mechanic and I are thinking about ditching the cams unless we can machine the ends down to fit, MACE thinks we've dummy fitted it on wrong.

To anybody that wants cams in the US, DON'T buy them unless they've been officially released. Only reason I bought them was because they assured me they would fit.

Well now I am wondering if I was actually sent and LFX set of cams and not the LLT...This sounds like the problem my shop ran into...is this the bank 1 cam?

Seems like the cams for the LLT and LFX are different at the ends. Both sides are like this.

Hopefully we can get them sorted next week. Only got a year left on my probationary license until I can get myself a V8 unfortunately..

I got mine the end of June directly from mace. It was my second set since I bought the original LLT cams last August
