REMOVING TRUNK LOGO 2010 SS CAMARO WITH HOLES

I am having issues removing the trunk logo on a 2010 camaro. It has two holes connecting the emblem. I've already looked on the thread but can't find how to remove it with holes. I used the same method as without holes but it still wouldn't budge. What tools should I use. I dont want to break the logo or damage paint.

Might have more luck in the cosmetic lighting mods subforum

But Goo Gone and fishing line is all you need.

I used fishing line to cut through the adhesive on both sides up to the pins that go into the holes, then used a plastic/nylon pry tool and a hair dryer to heat the bow tie, to pry it off. Lay down several layers of masking tape around the bowtie and try to work some under the edges too. This is so when your prying the bow tie off, the other side is not digging into the paint.

Cut behind the bow tie with fishing line after you have went over it and it's no longer able to stick pull it off with your fingers it will come off.

so the rear bowtie is just glued on? No holes to deal with?
I have a 2014 SS if that makes a difference.

The 2010 bow tie was held on with adhesive and pegs on the back, to my understanding 2011-2014 are just adhesive. (When you take it off be sure to mark where it was if you plan to put it back on.)

The pegs were just for alignment - they didn't actually help hold the bowtie on.
