My wife understands. Plus she'd much rather deal with parking in the boonies versus me all pissed off for the next MONTH if I got a ding. Not to mention the things that have gone through my head on what I'd do to the offending car..

I never take two spots though... Like others have said, that's just asking for it.

My daughter also gives me a hard time about parking "far". But, it's all good!

i park far away and take 2 spots. take 2 spots at work most days to, but i watch it out the window. far out and 2 spots is ok, close in and 2 spots and may get trouble. either way i park as far from any car as i can because i care about my car. those who harp on it, just don't get it n should get a prius!

Park far, but not in 2 or more spots. That's being a douche and asking for trouble. I've seen a guy with a Ford GT in front of Apple Bees in one spot. If thats good for him, its good for my 38k car.

so by taking 2 spots you disregard the basic idea of the markings in the lot and 1 spot per car, but expect everyone else to abide by them.....why not put up a sign that says "I think I'm better than you and deserve these 2 spots". Park out in the same area in 1 spot...you'll achieve the same thing without being thought of as a d-bag.

I usually park out quite a ways - but inevitably there are always those a$$clowns that seem to still park right next to you. I call it the sheep effect - if you parked your car in an empty lot the size of a city block with nothing in the lot -- then 5 people all pulled in behind you - your car would be surrounded - regardless of where you parked it. Park vertical on the wall of the building -- yea two cars right beside you! You gotta love it.
