ZL1 track days covered by warranty

Not much that isn't already known...with the exception that Al O states "track days are covered by warranty."

Yes they will.

This car is built SO strong, they have the utmost confidence in its abilities.

Just don't modify it, and if a part breaks due to manufacturing/design/workmanship...they'll cover it - whether you were racing or not. That said - don't downshift into 1st at 70mph like an doofus and expect them to replace your engine.

LOL, me too......downloaded for any possible question down the road. I'm gonna beat this sucker like it owes me money.

I'm sure Al O. had the blessings of the GM higher ups before making that sound bite.

Regardless, this is one hell of a bold move & the first time ever in the industry.

You'd be surprised at some of the stuff I've witnessed at various events.

There are a few that perhaps should take a sledge hammer and perhaps a small bomb to see if they can damage it any more.......

There's performance driving - and then there's out-and-out abuse.

I'm going to drive it the exact same way I drive any of my other track cars. Which means 10/10.....sorry,my post was a bit ambiguous & may lead one to think I meant abuse. I take care of my cars.

I've been tracking Z06's since 2002,and other than a few grass trimming sessions, have not had anything break.

I just want to thank GM for this, its exactly what the Camaro ZL1 needs to propel it into a league all its own (not that it needed anything!!). Kudos!! FWIW, I probably won't track mine but I will "get on it " once in a while so I am glad for the peace of mind!!
