As long as Ford builds a GT500, Chevy needs the ZL1. The LS7 is dead after the 5th gen. Any 6th gen Z/28 will be LT powered. I don't get why that is so hard to understand. |

And Bhobbs is correct as long as there is a GT500 there'll be a ZL1. Bottom line; if it sells, why would you not produce it?

....Slash plays with Guns N Roses, give it up on the Z28 and it's relevance, it's meaning is no different than headlight redesign, tailight revisions, or models changing architecture....sorry but sometimes the mindless minutia goes overboard. Was it bolted on? Was it glued on with dual sided tape? Was it a decal?

The obvious. A one line statement about the / being dropped. We get it, especially those of us who were around then and endured the changes over time. Some of the trivial discussion here ranges from the sublime to the rediculous. Carry on.

I hate to bring this thread back from the dead, but its cold snowy and dead at work so I am haha.
My question still has not been answered. I see everybody talking about how the 14 Z/28 gets back to the racing heritage of the 67-69 cars. Fbod father does not really state anything about it going from Z/28 to Z28 until 1977 and mostly from then on the purists that the 3rd and 4th gen cars weren't worthy of the Z/28 badge. That I understand, but about the 70 Z? What about the 70 Z28? It had no slash Did the badge change on purpose bc it wasn't "the same" or is the 70 car kind of like lost in the middle? |
