Looking to buy a skip shift eliminator

This maybe a dumb question but which skip shift eliminator do I buy? A couple of different companies offer them like SLP,Apex Motorsports, etc. Are they all the same? Whats the difference?? Who recommends which company to buy from??

I got mine fron Apex Motorsports as It was the least expensive one I found and it looked just like all the others. It is a pretty simple device and it works as advertised.

Here is some info on CAGS and skip shift eliminators. Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions.

..you know, i was wondering why my Camaro was doing this. I actually just assumed it was driver error, lol. I'm happy that there is a solution and that my car is perfectly fine.

Is installation pretty easy? If so, i'm definately going to make an order.

It takes longer to get your car off the ground than it does to actually install. You simply unplug the wiring harness, plug the skip shift eliminator onto the end of the harness, then plug it back into the solenoid.

I've read that but can't find any DIY guides to go by.

Get a Radio Shack 2.2k ohm resistor. Put the resistor across the skip shift connector. Tape the connector.

Yes, the message will still appear with a skip shift eliminator installed but CAGS will not activate. The only way to get rid of the message on the dash is to have a tune done.
