Heres the link to their top 10 picks. Mustang won the best sporty car category! I think the Camaros visibility is what is hurting it because other than that the Camaro should have won!

When you said "Consumer Picks" I thought you meant "consumer votes" But now I see it's Consumer Reports' top picks. I think the sales #'s show who was the top consumer pick last year. The Mustang could stand for a re-styled front end in my opinion. I don't mind the back side unlike a lot of other people. The California special Mustang actually is pretty good looking, but it adds a ton to the price and it wasn't available in the blue I liked, much like the Camaro. Why does everybody except me hate blue? haha.

I cant stand the back end of the newer mustangs they look ugly from the back end I think. The front looks better than the back because they tried to re-style the front some but they re-styled the back worse than before. Yeah GM needs another blue color that is similar to my color again! The dark blue just doesnt cut it. They didnt give my car color enough time to see if people wanted it before cutting the color off. They should make Jet Stream blue a color option.

One thing to keep in mind about Y! Autos: They source ALL of their articles from "experts" who A) don't like American cars at all (so I'm shocked the Mustang won and besides, CR has never liked anything American, ever) and B) People who barely know what a car is.

Most of their "expert mechanic" advice on how to take care of a car is stuff that no self-respecting mechanic would ever advise you to do.

Anyway, I would take anything you read at Y! Autos with an entire bowl full of salt

The person that picked the mustang is obviously blind. The power/handling/looks (426hp/420tq against 412hp/390tq, independent against rear-axle, camaros body compared to mustangs body LOL) still outmatch the mustang and yet wins that pick. But then again its consumer reports reporting lolol.

Yeah, I am not digging the new generation Mustang at all. I loved the old 5.0 and had a 96 myself. But the new ones just don't do anything for me. Enjoy the Camaro in good health and don't look back.
