Wondering if anyone has been affected by dealer closings, ordered my car late October 2008, and last Friday my dealership was on the list to close. Yesterday the dealer called me and told me that he would not be able to get my order, he said that he would refund my money, but that if I ordered from another dealership that I would not be guaranteed price protection. The dealer tried to call other dealers in the area and they would order me one but at 5k over sticker. I had agreed to buy mine a 2ss 6sp RJT/black for sticker. This really sucks especially after waiting almost for years

My dealer is closing, but I was under the impression it wasn't until October, so I am pretty sure I don't have to worry since my car should be here next month.

This list is only showing dealers that have admitted they have the letter. It doesn't mean that "your" dealer is not on the list. There may be dealers that have the letter and are not telling anyone.

BTW, this list comprises dealers that GM has stated that they will not renew their dealer agreements when it is up in October 2010.

So if you have a Camaro on order I wouldn't worry about the "LIST".

Wow...only one in MA is closing. It's not far from my house either...but luckily I didn't order from them. (To be honest, I thought that dealership had been closed for years LOL )
