2010 camaro or 2011 supercharged version?
I have heard rumors about a supercharged 2011 model of the camaro. Anyone know if I should wait for the 2011 for the supercharger or will it never happen?

Noone really knows. Joe is right though, there's lots of info (mostly theories, but some tidbits from Fbodfather) around the forum.
The general concensus is that there's nothing immediately in the works. |

wouldn't say it's not immediately in the works. would say more like information hasn't been immediately released. . .

It sounded like there was perhaps one in development in AZ at one time, but there's no confirmation other that it is not dead - period. The rest is speculation and the hopes and dreams of many...

After the Camaro has been around for a few years at most (some mustang fans would say "if it makes it a few years" - phooey on them) I'm sure GM will create one with a bit more power. Plus, they may be waiting to release it till they tweak the small engine fuel economy - that way it won't mess up their CAFE stuff...

I say it'll be back for either the 45th or the 50th anniversaries.

I think if a supercharged Z28 comes out it will be limited production and cost ALOT. $50k +

Yeah who knows what's going on. I did read a quote that said there will be no Z28 it will stay an SS car. But they are also saying there will be numerous performance upgrades available from GM like a hurst shifter, cat back exhaust, high flow air intake system, etc. If we are starting at 422 HP in the SS manual then maybe that can get pushed up to 450 or so. And who knows they might wanna stick it to the Ford GT500 and throw in a supercharger after market accessory. Could just be to expensive to produce from the factory.
