The Hennesy should be a better drag car, the Z28 should handle better and come with a 100,000 mile power train warranty.

The quoted HPE Camaro's performance numbers on their site were obtained with drag radials, however...so it's not fair to compare the two's performance, imo.
But does the Hennessy car come with DR's or is that an extra/DIY item? If thats how the car comes, thats how it comes.

If so, I would expect that for whatever price GM offers it, it'll have less performance than one of the HPE Camaros.
No, if you want a import beating supercharged luxury vehicle from GM there's the CTS-V

The Mail Order package doesn't come with the radials, but is an option to add on. However, the Hennessey they ran in the 1/4 miles do have radials on them.

I'd take the factory one as well in this case, but its hard to make an official judgement since we don't know the specs on it yet...

Interesting . . . we've all heard reports about the LSA going into the Z/28 which has a gas guzzler tax on the CTS-V. I personally don't think it's possible to avoid it on the Z/28 with 500+hp which is the only way to get competitive with the GT500.

I'll take the Z28 any day... especially if it comes with a 100,000 mile power train warranty.

While GM has the performance parts department, you will gain performance out of those parts and not void the warranty if done by Chevrolet employees like you stated.
But, those same performance parts have nothing on true aftermarket performance parts that you can get for your Camaro, i.e., Stainless Works, ADM and so forth.

But that doesn't mean we'll know the specs. The Corvette, Camaro, and G8 GXP all gave the LS3 but it makes 436 hp in the Vette, 426 in the Camaro, and 415 in the G8. Same thing could happen with the LSA.

I hope they'll crank out more than 556 HP for the Z/28. They are obviously going to have to do something around 600 HP if they expect to beat 11.38's stock.

11.38's stock?? If you call stock - smaller rims and full slicks... Someone was trying to make it look like a GT500 right off the showroom is going to do an 11.38 on stock tires and rims - not going to happen.
