Anyone replaced the Hurst shifter knob?

I just got the 2011 with the short throw shifter from Hurst. The only thing I don't like is the size of the knob. Has anyone taken theirs off yet and replaced it with something else?

as far as I know there is not yet anyone who makes a replacement for the factory knob. Most people have baught aftermarket shifters. You can check with hurst industries or some specialty companies like flameball.com, they make knobs by make model and year.

Thanks, I called Hurst today and they said they do not make a replacement. The Hurst style shifter knob that comes with the car is pressed on and all their replacements use a set screw. So, since I can't screw the knob on, I can replace it. Hmm. Wonder if there is a way to make the stick have a threaded end?

There is a company that makes a replacement for the hurst factory knob. Don't know it off the top of my head, but if you search I'm sure you'll find it.
