I ordered mine July 3rd, the dealer said they had allocations and it would take 12 weeks to get the car.
I ordered from Suburban Chevrolet in Claremore, OK. Jeff Brock is the salesman

2010 Camaro for MSRP
I had the same problem here in Texas with the dealers price gouging. I ordered mine from Allen Tillery in Hot Springs AR. The salesman's name is Obie Staggs. He sold it to me for MSRP and I pick it up Monday. Ask for him and you can tell him Stephan sent you.

Here is the one we ordered. We are picking it up Monday in Hot Springs. It was well worth the 8 hour drive to save that much $$$. It also has the ground effects coming but they are a dealer installed option and are about 5 weeks out so we are going to get them painted black and installed next month when they get in. Also notice the rims are not black like they appear on the "build it" website. But powder coating them is about $75 each down here in Texas.

Hey Guys and Gals. Brian Walker here from Chevrolet of Fayetteville in Fayetteville Arkansas. I've seen some people asking about dealers in arkansas charging $5-10k over sticker. As far as I can tell we might just be the only one's in the state of arkansas charging only MSRP + our $129 process and handling fee. We have put about 10 Camaro's out in the street so far, and we have a waiting list of about 16 as of right now. We are not ordering them to have on the lot, but instead we are building them for the customer. Let me know if there is anything that I can help anyone out with.

That's great Brian. Everyone here in the Houston area where I live is charging at least $5000 over MSRP. Obie Staggs at Allen Tillery in Hot Springs ordered it for me at MSRP plus $125. Nice to know there are others out there.

Brian,
How many allocations a month are you getting?? With the waiting list that long it seems that the orders wont be filled for many months.. I purchased my last car from Fayetteville and you guys took care of me then... Thank you for selling at MSRP. |

4 Allocations amonth as of right now. We are working to get more but yea, you might not get to see your camaro for a little while. As the proclaimed Camaro King at the dealership I have been working very hard to get all the info for our customers that I can, We should have 3 coming in anytime soon. All 3 are sold and they are to my customers. I'm aboout to make a few people very happy,

Mine isn't in yet, but have been repeatedly promised MSRP. I have every confidence that is exactly what I will pay. My dealer is in Stuttgart. He has an unsold yellow v6 on the lot right now if anyone is looking.

For those of you who have not driven one yet, we are letting people test drive our Silver V6 with the RS pkg, mainly for those who are serious about buying or ordering one. Also, as soon as our other Lot Camaro comes in (which who know's when that will be) We will be selling our Silver 2LT V6 RS pkg. People interested in buying it, we are pretty much just throwing their name in a hat and pulling out on name to see who win the right to buy it. So if you wanna get your name in the hat just let me know.

Brian, good to see another fair dealer. I can also tell you I ahve in writing MSRP + $129 for my 2SS preorder from Smith in Fort Smith. It's good to see Northwest Arkansas keeping it on the straight and narrow. Thanks.

Central Arkansas has it's share of fair dealers, too. Bale Chevrolet in Little Rock has sold all their pre-ordered Camaro's at MSRP, with NO doc fee (that $129 dollars can buy some accessories or a few tanks of gas). They have pre-ordered 25+, but only 5 orders haven't received allocation yet. That means a relatively short wait time.
Oh, and by the way, Bale also has 4 Camaro's on their pre-owned lot. |
