Last week my friend's daughter made a turn from a stop, lost control at about 30-35mph, and hit a telephone pole with her 2011 Camaro.

She walked away with only a bruised arm.

Wow. Thats probably the worse camaro damage Ive seen on this site... next to the guy who out 26inch rims on his car.

Im sorry it had to happen but in all actuality she had to be going faster than 35. To do that amount of damage and to damage the engine and deploy the air bags, it had to be about a minimum of 50 mph.

Im glad she is ok though. Cars can be replaced.

35mpg on a turn? fast for a sharp corner, too sow to cause that much damage on a slight bend. anyways shit happenes. Live and learn, more important part is to live!

the speed is off...cant be 35...maybe 45-55. also ummm..how does she make a turn at 35 and loose control?

making a u turn or something? floored it out the turn?

Glad the driver escaped with very minor injuries. Is 35 the speed the driver stated or the speed that was recorded on the vehicle at the time the air bags deployed?
