Anyone get ticketed for window tint in SEPA?

I am contemplating getting my windows tinted, probably 30%. Not too dark, not too light. Just curious if anyone has been nabbed for window tint. If so/not, what percent of tint do you have? Thanks.

I've got 15% sides and back and have yet to get a ticket. Whenever I see cops I always open the windows.

I have 20% all the way around and I haven't been stopped yet. That's the legal limit here, but everyone at my work says it looks like limo because my car is black on black. I have heard though, that if you were to get pulled over all you have to do is politely ask them to use their template on your car to see what it reads. Don't EVER just let them assume what it is. My bro is State and that's what he told me to do. I don't see why you should have a problem with what you are wanting to do.

Even though I am close to Bridgeport, I am going to Shades of Gray in Feasterville most likely.

Yes, it is $180 for any % of tint. Takes an hour and you can't roll down your windows for 3 days.

You should be fine with 30%, but since technically any tint on the front windows is illegal, it is possible to get picked off for it.

I have 20% all around, but I always drive with my windows down so I haven't had any issues yet.

Also, window tinting is no longer a safety inspection issue so its only up to the police to enforce the law. From my experience, it seems like some townships are tougher on tint then others.
