Whats the deal!

I just don't understand dealers not excepting incentives! Like GM Military Go codes (Military GM Pricing)! I got one for my 2SS/RS M6 IOM purchase and its not like I'm not paying full MSRP for the car which I am. Its just GM is giving me a better price for serving our country I love. What's the deal here?

That's f*cked up man. GM is above the stupid dealers. GM gives you a code for a discount, they should require the dealers to honor it. I understand the car is new and is still in high demand, but if the company who MAKES THE CAR is giving you a code for a discount, there is no excuse for refusing to honor it. And when I checked, the military discount only give you about $1000 or so off MSRP. Not like half price or something.

I got my car at MSRP + my USAA discount thanks to you guys on here but they would not honor my grad discount like they said they would. They kept telling me I was wrong and gm would not take under MSRP I printed off the info from gm website and took it to them. Then the GSM said that it was still incorrect and even if it was he would not except it. I still got it under MSRP but for what it's worth my husband served 6 years USAF and out of all the discounts military should be taken before any.

No one in NJ wanted to honor anything! Soooo I found Carfagno Chevrolet in Plymouth Meeting, PA about an hour and 40 minute drive they took my USAA discount of $750.00 plus my GM points no problems no hassles. Gary was my salesman.

My dealer will only take $1000 of my gm points. Still trying to contact gm card rep on the phone, always busy. I swear if they don't take the full amount I will send them back my card in a thousand pieces.

Ditto, dealer would not take my credit union discount but they did accept my USAA discount of $750. Back in March they told me they would honor all GM discounts but last week they said no way when my invoice was generated.

Some aren't honoring it because they don't have to. These cars sell themselves. It's supply and demand...the American way!! It's not right, especially for Men and Women who serve their country but it is what it is!

There are 3 rewards cards. If you have the GM world card there is no limit and any dealer should have to take it. If one did then any others not accepting it is just BS. Probably add't info at www.GMCardmemberservices.com

GM is only allowing 1000 GM Rewards Points on the Camaro currently. That's all you will get.

We have over 2000 pts...but can only use 1000 of them when my car arrives in Sept.

BTW ... This is a GM program....so the dealerships have to honor it, so my dealer said.

It does suck but it is what it is. Dealers have NEVER been required to honor discounts; it's in their franchise agreements. Remember, you're buying the car from the dealer- you pay HIM. HE buys the cars from GM. They are HIS cars to do with as he pleases. In the case of GMS or GSU (employee/supplier pricing) he is NOT reimbursed the money that the car is discounted from MSRP. What he is reimbursed up to, is the invoice price of the car. So, in today's market where we all know any dealer can pretty much get MSRP and above (although most likely not for too much longer), why would he throw away $1200-2000 depending on model and options when the next guy through the door is going to pay full price?

I'm not defending them; I'm just telling you why it's the way it is.
