L99 Lifters and a TSB

My lifters have been more noticeable lately. Should I take it in? I can hear them pretty well when I start it up during a cold start. I bought her used back in April with about 24k miles. It's a 2009 produced 2010 2SS/RS.

Also, my car is listed under the TSB #09207 -SERVICE UPDATE - HVAC RPG, ENG HARN INSP, REAR SPOILER FAST -*EXP W/BASE WARR*
Is there any way to check if this was done or needs to be done?

Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Sorry to hear about your lifters, Lgndryhr. I can understand the displeasure created after the cold starts. I'd be more than happy to schedule an appointment and monitor the diagnosis on your behalf. If you'd like additional assistance, feel free to message me with regards to this matter.

Sincerely,

William R.

William,

Can I just take it into my favorite local dealer and they take a look? I imagine it will be covered under warranty any work performed on the vehicle as far as my lifters are concerned. Okay thanks for the assistance!

You can definitely take it to your local dealer. If the diagnosis finds a defect with the lifters and the noise you're experiencing, then your powertrain warranty (which should be effective on your 2010) would cover repairs to correct the concern. If you take it in, please keep me updated!
