God love her. When my mom is getting ready for a special occasion...we plan for 8 hours for her to get ready. She will still never be on time. It's quite pathetic.

Same here.

It typically takes me 3-4 hours to wash my car using a foam gun, two bucket method with grit screens, initial dry with water followed by towel, then blowing water out of all crevices with a leaf blower or side-kick blaster, and finally cleanup. Of course some of that time is spent taking a step-back to admire the car.

You're talking about the car right?

I don't know how you guys wash in less than 2 hours. Sometimes it takes me 3 hours to wash and dry and I aint no grandpa about it either. Throw on another 2 hours to hand wax.

I can wash the car including wheels and wheel wells as well as dry and dress the rubber tires in about 30-35 minutes.

Damn! You are fast. I washed Ruby today (yes, 3 buckets, grit guards, etc, the right way) & dried her thoroughly including wheels, underhood, & trunk. It took me 3 hours. BTW it usually takes me 2 hours to get ready, 3 for an extra special event.

My wife would beat me. I need 1.5 to 2 hrs for a full wash and dry on the Camaro. She actually gets ready fairly quick.

Date nights are important. I can relate to wanting to get going as soon as possible. Hope you had a great night out.
