Thanks, Don.

Meanwhile, back at the shop, JPSS building some aluminum aero for me. Angle brackets welded to bumper for strength.

I like the idea of a splitter that I can bang back into shape with a hammer if it gets bent.

We might go a little more aggressive with the splitter.

Judging from what GM did on Z/28, you might want to make the splitter protrude more from the sides (by the fog lights)?

The season is coming to an end, at least here. I hope you can get to try your car before it ends!

You beat me in with the aero!

Peter Gray has already added a SLP front spoiler and ACS Brake ducts. He did them himself and didn't want to lose them in a 2014 front fascia update, but we needed to reduce lift at track speeds and add down force.

Simple bolt ons were not an option. We wanted the aero pieces to be rock solid and functional. They are. We used a small section of angle and welded it to the bumper bar for the suports. We used aluminum trading off some weight against a carbon fiber piece for durability. This is a race car driven on the street or is it a street car driven on the track -- either way we know it is going to take some abuse and built it to that standard.

The rear fastens to the OE rear spoiler with a series of nutserts. It is rock solid too.

We are still testing and have a new front spoiler being cut. It is refined, reshaped and lighter. We will fit it early next week.

This #streetcar / #racecar rides on Forgeline GA3R 19x11 / 19x11.5 wheels with 305/30/19 Bridgestone RE11s on a Z/28 DSSV suspension. It is lowered using JPSS proprietary technology and parts. We can tell you that even in this stage of development it is a seriously bad automobile.

We use nutserts for the rear and can fit it to 2010 to 2013 factory SS rear spoilers.

It took some creativity, time and fabrication to lower Peter's Camaro on the Z/28 DSSV struts and coils, but we got it done. It is low and a challenge to drive on the street. We are talking sideways into drive ways.

We'll have the new front spoiler installed mid week. We need some track time to fine tune the setup. It looks like at least three or four outings :-)

Yep, might try a few different versions, one of which would be more square.

We're booked to test out the aero at VIR Sept 18th, and then a week later Road Atlanta Sept 26/27, then Summit point Oct 9, back to VIR Oct 25/26, and probably finishing off early Nov at Summit Point. Gonna be a busy fall!

I'll post some videos from the track Sept 18. Maybe that will help...

We have tested and revised the front blade a few times. The newest photos show what we call Version 2. Version 3 will be 2 full inches wider with integrated front wheel well canards to cover 315/30/19 on our GA3R JPSS offset wheels.

Looks good. Does the aluminum sit flat on the underside without much of an issue?

SSsoon had installed an SLP piece before we met. We used it to keep the new blade flat. We are installing the JPSS aero kit on a 2010 next week so we are going to sort out the fitment for a standard 2010 - 2013.
