clutch/master cylinder/ problem.

I turn TC and stablitrac off and I launch it and the clutch sticks to the floor. 3000 miles on it and its done it about 3 or 4 times. Most of the time if i try to launch hard at the track! The couple times i got my fastest 60ft my clutch will stick. FYI i still ran a 12.82 at 110 mph with a 1.98 60ft almost stock just with mufflers. ANYWAY i researched on here and talked to people around town with camaros. People have put dot4 fluid in it. I did a flush with dot3/4 fluid that is technically dot4 but mixes with dot3 incase i didnt get all the dot3 out. Now the clutch feels better but Im having problems getting it into 2nd gear. I went to the track and missed 2nd twice. couldnt figure out why! I started granny shifting into second and it works fine!! i cant power shift into second or it trys grinding or just misses. Is it the pressure problem with the part that needs drilling out to take out the delay from master cylinder to clutch?.. or what is the deal. Its like the fluid isnt getting to the clutch quick enough to disengage when shifting second? should i go back to dot 3? or go to a true dot 4 or a better name brand fluid? or is there a way to bleed something? Donno how but if someone could explain i will try it.
Im not a mechanic i just know an average amount of stuff about the car. Any tips or pointers would be helpful or explaining how it works and what is causing it. I heard clutch dust and boiling fluid too thats why i tried dot3/4. I want to try a couple things without obvious voiding my warranty bc i hate letting random people work on my car. Also this is stupid to have the same reservoir for clutch and brake!! trying to find a seperate reservoir also for the clutch!
Thanks to all who reply!!!!

I isolated my clutch system with a separate reservoir. Then I changed to Motul RBF600 DOT4 fluid. I change the fluid after every track day and have never had it stick yet. I have close to 100 1/4 mile passes with no problems. Speed shifting from first to second and second to third doesn't work well with the synchros in the TR6060 tranny. The only speed shifting I do is 3rd to 4th.

Not sure if this will help you or not, but this thread talks about a separate cylinder for the clutch and brakes:

Yea I'm workin on gettin my seperate cylinder now. I'm bout to flush my fluid again with prestone dot 4 instead of valvoline dot3/4 bc I didn't know that valv is a lesser quality fluid.
Any other tips that I can get would be helpful!! I can get the car in 2nd easily but only by granny shifting. It's almost like bc I shift slower it gives the clutch more time to disengage when I used to be able to power shift. And I have a stock clutch so it takes a little bit longer to shift than a short throw. What happens now when I get a short throw I still can't shift faster bc I'm waiting on the clutch? I used to be able to descent powershift now I can't so any Help would be good. Fast shifting to third and fourth etc are fine. Just to 2nd.

On my 1LT I noticed on one hard launch that the clutch stuck half way down. Soon after i noticed a big change in the engagement point of the clutch. It moved way down, almost to the floor. I was also having problems missing second gear with spirited driving. Took it into the dealer, and they ruled out master and slave cylinders. Turns out the clutch's 'self adjusting mechanism' did it's job pre-maturely. Dealer service tech said they saw this problem on some corvettes. Good news is they know whats wrong, bad news is they don't have any replacement parts in stock ANYWHERE. Haven't driven my baby in 2 weeks and they don't have the slightest clue when they'll get the part. All you guys out there with the AY6 beware....
