2011 427LSX w/ Vortech YSi

So I wanted to start a build thread on this project we are doing. This will be at our booth, at this years Camaro 5 Fest.

Here are some pics of the car and the baseline dyno. I will keep posting up more pics when I get them of parts and of our progress.

We are shooting for 1000 to 1100 RWHP

Here is a list of the parts for the project.

Engine:

GM LSX Block
Callies Crank & Rods
Diamond Pistons
Total Seal Rings
Ported LS3 Heads w/ Upgraded Valves
Cometic Gaskets
ARP Hardware
Bullet custom ground cam
Manley Double Roller Chain
Chromemoly Pushrods
Katech Carbon Fiber Valve Covers
FAST 102 mm Intake & Rails
Fore Triple Pump Sender w/ 8an feed, set up for return
NW 102mm Billet TB
SW 2" Headers w/ 3" Exhaust

Power Adder:

Vortech YSi Supercharger Kit
Vortech Cog Drive with 80T Lower and 26T Upper
Snow Stage 3 Meth Kit

Suspension/ Drivetrain:

DSS 9" Conversion w/ aluminum 1 piece shaft, 300m Half Shafts
Moser aluminum center section 3.73 gears
Spec Twin Disc Clutch
BMR Toe Rods, Trailing Arms, Subframes, G Brace, Strut Tower
BMR Cradle Bushings, Full Chassis Bushing Kit, Swaybars, End Links
K&W Coil Overs Adjustable
AP Racing Rotors, Pads, Brake Lines

Looking forwards to seeing this. Unfortunate that the altitude is the great equalizer. This car could be so much more out of the altitude. It is going to be insane there but many will lose sight of what it would be in their East Coast 100ft above sea level driveway.

Sounds fun. Keep a nice photo journal going.

was going in next week now i do not know????

Sorry I have not posted more. We are just trying to get everything ready for the Camaro 5 Fest.

Here is some pics of the FAST 102mm Intake, rails, and 100lb injectors. Also a pick of Drive Shaft Shops 9" conversion. Will have my Moser Aluminum center section on Tuesday.

Here are all the disassemble pics. Nothing like tearing down a car with less than 700 miles on it.

The engine is being dynoed tomorrow. Will post up pics and HP numbers of the engine before Boost.

This is a awesome build it should make at least 1100 plus to da tire with that pulley set up for sure!!!
