Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the clutch line just tap off of the fluid reservoir itself, so the fluid wouldn't be pressurized?

Thinking about doing this .I'm at 16.000 miles and the cluch stuck one time on me during a drag race two weekends ago ....And seams to be fine now even after a little cluch smell at the track and got right back in line to race and seames to be ok I was just a little freaked out at the time.... But now after reading this I looked and It's dirty...damn I'll try and pull this dirty shit out and put new do you think I will notice any diffarance in How it performs?

You probably won't notice any performance difference other than your clutch pedal not sticking to the floor.

It's piece of mind insurance for me and not an expensive mod at all.

You better believe it needs a seperate reservoir. I still can't understand why the Corvettes have had seperate clutch fluid reservoirs since '98, but Chevy decided to share the clutch and brake reservoir on a car made in 2010

I first swapped the clutch fluid out on my Z06 around 26,000 miles. I noticed a HUGE difference after I replaced the pitch black fluid with fresh. It DOES make a difference, it's NOT B.S.

I normally tried to change the fluid in my Z06 out about every 4-6 weeks.

I can't tell from the OPs Photo:

Was the Battery Cable Zip Tie cut?

Or, was the Battery Cable just pushed down, out of the way?

I yanked on the holder, but didn't want to force it too much for fear of breaking it.

So, it'll come loose by working it back and forth using a screwdriver as a fulcrum?

Woohoo! mine comes in tomorrow!

Unfortunately the weather is now complete crap and there's no way I'm going to be out in the rain trying to change fluids and what not (no water in the fluids!), I guess she'll have to wait till spring. Glad to finally be getting the part though, it's only been a month but it's not GMPartsDirect.coms fault though, they been waiting to get it as well.

Ouch....GMpartsdirect wants more $ to ship it than the part cost itself! Anyone know where the best place to order one from? Thanks!

I'm not sure what 2SSRS can do for you but $25 shipped is the best I could find, I know it's ridiculous as the part is only $11. My local dealership is charging $20 + tax but originally sold the 2010's at $10K over sticker so I'll pay $5 more and buy it elsewhere.
