Thanks man. I had a bit too much in the first few runs. I got into it by the 3rd run. Gina was behind me when I went against the 69 Z28. Hope she got it on video. I would like to know why he had such a bad start

Ok. That explains it. I got the shifts down at this point and was trying to use the launch control (which I think was working but without a side shot of my starts it was hard to tell if I was doing it correctly) I knew however that the driver of the Z28 knew what he was doing so I was perplexed as to where he was when I was shifting into second.

Both ZL1s were bone stock with manual shifters.

One had a good driver, the other had a bad driver............me :(
Oddly enough his finish line speed was 138mph and mine was still 137mph
