The P-Zeros are of a fairly soft compound. Stop and go driving, short trips with a lot of stop signs and red lights accelerates wear. Another major contributing factor to tire wear is the road surfaces on which you drive. Here in SW PA our asphalt roads and tar and chip roads are like driving on 80-grit sandpaper. Grooved concrete is not helpful either. My ’10 6-cylinder Camaro has a little over 13,000 miles on it and the rears are about worn out. The fronts are fine. I don’t drive it aggressively at all and have never done a burnout. I’m debating whether to stay with the P-Zeros or switch to something else.

Even worse was my ’10 Corvette Grand Sport. It wore out the front tires at 5500 miles. And that was with me checking and adjusting the tire pressure every time the temperature changed 10 degrees. My dealer was able to get Goodyear to contribute to replacing those. The Michelins on my ’14 Stingray seem to be wearing far better than the Goodyears that were on the GS, and they are noticeably quieter too.

Got my car with 38k on it and im now at 47k. Tires were about 80% when I bought the car. Im now down near the wear bars. A few good burnouts on the street and I def burned them up at the drag strip. Will proly replace soon. Id imagine I burned and raced off about 5k that couldve been saved

If you honestly have never done a burnout, maybe you should get your alignment checked.

I envy you guys. Mine only went 19000 and my Invos will go 9000. I guess 325 auto x laps and a dozen 1/4 miles runs and canyon carving may possibly have something to do with it..lol

Pffftt 19,000miles is weaksauce!

My stock rears lasted less then 3,000miles! More like 1,800

Tires are just the cost of doing business. Go get a 4 cylinder four door car and you can get tires to last 50,000 miles. I don't do burn outs and I replaced the rears at 20K, 33K, 45K and I'm due for new ones now at 55K. You can get harder tires to last longer.

So your miles per set are continuing to decrease , something is not right
Either you , the car or most likely both , need to get something done

I got about 28k out of mine including trips to the dragstrip. Only the rears were down to the wear bars and the fronts had about half their life left.

There's no way you guys are getting 30K miles out of a set of P-Zeros and you do burn outs and have fun with your car. It's just not possible.

I went through two sets of P-Zeros and only got around 8k miles out of the rears.

I would have to drive extremely conservatively with pretty much no burn outs to get anywhere close to 30k miles. P-Zeros are soft tires and they do not last long if you drive aggressively.

I think Scott got about 5k miles out of his with a heavy right foot.

I'm sorry, but 30K+ miles on a set of P-Zero rear tires = hand over your keys to your daughter and let her show you how to have fun.
