Severe help, itsx just killed my car!

Saw that the update was finally available for the itsx to update and solve all the issues. Did the download and went to upload stock file, everything was fine and then my dic went crazy flashing error messages and now my car is dead, won't start and its telling me upload failed, I'm beyond effing pissed now. Wtf?

That could be a really bad deal... if it wont respond then you can try disconnecting the battery for several minutes then retry the upload. If it won't do anything, you may have an expensive ECU paper weight :(

It probably (hopefully) just froze the ECU, and was not responding, therefore the rest of the car was freaking out and turning all those lights on. Hopefully having the battery disconnected (completely and totally in the trunk) will reset it and still have enough programming in it to receive a new flash. I'd leave it disconnected for like 10 or 15 minutes, and if you can during that time (while the battery is disconnected) touch the cars negative terminal cable to the cars positive terminal cable (not the battery) a few times to remove any static power that may reside in the system.
Hopefully this works for you.

There are safeguards in place, disconnecting the battery always works in a case like this.

I am at SEMA till Monday, let me know How I can be of assistance.

Ted.

Well Ted I tried it again and same thing, it gets about 1/3 downloaded and the dic goes crazy, same thing all over and says failed to upload. I'm going to send this back and try the sct x3, maybe I'll have a better experience with it.
