We commonly change out the 3.27 L99 gears to the 3.45. 3.91 is a bit much, but not too bad if you're just sticking with bolt-ons. If you're going supercharged or cammed, I'd go 3.45.

Feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.

Tyler

Considering gears for a while now. Is it worth it? May supercharge in the future, but it'll be a while.

What is the difference between the 10-13 and 14-15 kit? Are there different parts?

You beat me to that. I was under the impression there was only one set that was a direct replacement. Do the 10-13 year models not work with a 14-15 diff and vice versa?

I was wondering this myself, so I did a little digging. Here are the instructions from GM for each kit:

GM-19301504 (2010-2013)
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...YrwGgHxLXb1E2A

GM-19301504/19329768 (2014-2015)
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...yAEl2BzoXNb5Bg

If you compare the parts in the parts lists, the only difference is that the 2014-2015 kit has emission certification labels for both kits, and the 2010-2013 kit has an emission certification label only for the 2010-2013 kit. All other part numbers are identical. The date on the instruction sheet for the 2014-2015 kit is later, so I'm guessing that the later kit applies to all cars (2010-2015) and you just use the correct emission certification label for your year. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Just because Black Friday is over doesn't mean we don't have great deals still!

Let us know if you have any questions about pricing on any of our products. We appreciate your interest and have a great rest of your week!

Best regards,

Hey Tyler,

I'm wanting to do a gear swap with this kit, but I'm a little confused. The part listing doesn't mention bearings, but on the first page of this thread a response says that it includes new bearings.

My installer suggests to replace them while he's got everything open, so does the kit include them? I'm a super newb with gearing/differentials, so if I get your kit and have the bearings is that just about everything I'll need, save the fluid?

We offer a Rebuild kit for $185.00 that includes everything needed for a complete rebuild. I am adding that onto the product page now as a drop down option. Please feel free to call or email us anytime with questions. I appreciate your interest in our products and have a great day!

Kind regards,
