Rupes Polisher Pads
I'm looking at getting a Rupes 15ES pretty soon, to add to the arsenal. What pads would you recommend getting to fit it? I want a 5" to 5.5" pad.

Lake Country Flat Pads. Cheap, effective, reliable, last forever if taken care of.

They are perfectly weighted to the machine. As you increase stroke and move the weight away from the pivot, differences in balance become more critical. The Rupes pads are perfectly weighted for the counter balance of that machine, and with a 15-mm stroke, you will appreciate the difference. Also, Rupes increased the velcro adhesion of the pads to their backing plate, which otherwise could become a weak spot when subjected to the pad stresses that a 15-mm throw could induce. |
