V6 getting close to the 11's...

Ran a new best tonight, 12.28 @ 117.44mph.

Thunder Valley Raceway, low 60's, DA was 1800-2000

Would really like to get to the 11's. I think a lightweight drag wheel setup might get me there.

I'm car #497

Get that 60 down and you're there based on your mph

Yeah I know, my 60ft is embarrassing. My tune is limiting my launch right now, it's a canned type tune and it won't let me rev the motor when I'm on the brake. If I have my foot on the brake at all it won't even let me rev over 1K, even after holding the tc button down 8 secs and all nannies off. I have to stage, pull my e-brake, and take my foot off the brake, then I can only rev a little because the e-brake only holds so much. I need to get that sorted out, it's fine for the street(except no brake stand burnouts) but not good for the strip. I'll have to do an SS rear diff/axles, torque convertor, and drag wheel/tire setup along with it though or it would be pointless. I'm on factory 20" wheels with Gmax all seasons and the small v6 auto open rear diff. I definitely have a list just takes $$$... and I'm just an auto mechanic AND I have a teenage daughter lol.

A pair of MT Drag Radials should do it for you. Probably 3 to 4 tenths off the 60'.

Glad to see someone else getting close. How about if you put a line-lock on the rear brakes to hold you on the line under some throttle. My Weld RTS 17s on all 4 corners netted me .11 ET and 3mph just switching rims and tires. But you also talking $$$$$$. Who's TT setup are you running and what's your boost PSI. Anything I can do remotely to help just ask or PM me and I'll give you my mobile # if we can talk to help you get there. I'm going for that 11:xx ET myself. See you on the 11 side. Good Luck.

It's the Fabberge "V8 Slayer" TT kit and I'm running 13-14psi. I've always had the launch problem because of the tune but Brian with Fabberge just sent me a new tune file this morning that's suppose to fix the problem with not being able to do a burnout and two foot it at the line. Hopefully that's the case and I'll be able to launch harder now. If so that should REALLY help my 60ft. I'll load the tune tomorrow and try it out.

And thanks I'll PM you sometime I'm sure, I'm always looking for peoples opinions.
