Raced in PA over the weekend, did good!

I had a co-driver this time, Justin Peachey. He's way better than me and won a few SCCA pro races this year. We entered the CAM class, and went 1-2 out of 5 entries. The track was wet all morning and on our 2nd set of runs it was starting to dry out. My last run was about 10 minutes after his, and about 15 more cars were on it, drying it even more. I only finished .642 behind him, but realistically I was 1.5 seconds behind him all day. He was instantly comfortable in the car and was aggressive right away.

his run

My run

Everything off. I've tried it in different modes when it's wet out. The problem with autocross combined with traction aides is that everything happens so fast. You're constantly going from hard-right to hard-left, stomping the brakes, to back on the gas. There's times when you need the car to rotate around a little and if you have the nannies on it won't let you. It's easier to leave it all off.

Where in PA was this? Looks like a pretty fast course.

It was at Mid State Airport near Philipsburg, PA. It was run by the Central PA SCCA region, aka CPR SCCA. You should have come out. My co-driver is racing this Sunday at a race in DC, not sure how far that is from York. There is also a huge race at Steel City Region SCCA, at Pittsburgh Raceway in Wampum PA.
