“I needed nice wax job” 😉 I tell you an old fashion car wax by hand is the way to go. Mother’s California Gold! Brazilian Carnauba Wax. Wax on Wax off right Mr. Miyagi. Best my car paint has looked since I brought it home from the dealership, maybe better.

Yeah I much prefer to do a nice paint correction and sealant myself. This year I'm going to try the Wolfgang line, using their fine polish first, then the deep gloss sealant.

few Months ago I busted out my Zymol Glasur wax that I use to love. Nope to damn long and too much effort vs how fast and easy the spray sealants are these days. They give much better protection and MUCH better hydrophobics to
If you wanna wax I would get something better than the mothers. That stuff will stain the trim if you accidentally get it on it

I've long since moved on from actual "wax", but nothing looks better. I'll still, from time to time, apply a good actual wax coating to the Camaro. It's cathartic, and the looks are amazing.

Totally agree nothing looks better. If you really appreciate your car there’s nothing like an afternoon of listening to music and waxing your car.

Agreed. All of my vehicles get "pre-summer" and "after-summer" coatings of sealant, but I admit I can't help myself but to add some wax to the SS a few times over the summer. How much does it "really" help, I dunno, but it's a great use of an afternoon, that's for sure!

Mothers makes a lot of good products and you probably could have used this one in the picture.

As mentioned, someday maybe you will try a modern protectant like a ceramic or graphene wax. The durability is amazing compared to a carnauba wax. It would probably knock your socks off.

Personally, I stay away from Cleaner Waxes. They contain solvents to remove paint contaminants. It's hard on paint over time. I prefer a good claying, and then laying down a good hand-applied ceramic wax. No solvents.

I have tried a lot different brands. I recently tried Adam's Advanced Graphene Ceramic Spray. Didn’t think it was that good. The wax job today made the car pop and was very happy with the result after applying a lot of elbow grease.

That adams stuff is terrible. I tried it and sent it back. One it made me sick from the smell and it didnt last all that long.
Try DIY Detail Ceramic gloss or Quick Beads, Armour detail supply Ceramic sealant, Apex BC3, Ethos is another good brand to look at
