Customer Complaint thread

Dear pre-order Camaro buyer,

Please help us send a message to GM and ask them to build all the pre-order cars before they build cars for people or dealers who have not had to wait long. Go to this GM blog and read our posts - it will give you a very clear understanding about the issue.

I hope as a purchaser, you would consider posting something yourself on the blog.

http://fastlane.gmblogs.com/archives...vy_camaro.html

Camaro buyers who committed to GM before even seeing the car, are the one's that should be picking up their cars before anyone else. Help me help you.

Thanks,
Hylton Jorssen

Frankly I can't see any reason for this not to happen. If someone puts in an order at the dealerships, they can wait until July.
absolutely

My contacts to make it happen are in Detroit and it would not be the right way of going about things.

Right way, smight way. The ends justify the means. No way they would change their plans because of a poll like this alone.

Thats an easy one. Of course they should only build R6P cars. Is it common knowledge now that they're done building rental/dealer/CTF cars? If it is thats news to me.

No it's not. Last month it certainly was. I'd like to hear a 100% commitment from GM that all May cars get directed to the R6P folks.

The problem is that a lot of dealers did not do the preorder thing. Now they are getting allocations and folks coming in off the street are getting the slot. And that slot is right now....Many of the pre-orders are say #7 of 10 and that slot is not on the dealers allocation report yet to even place it and get it into they system. So even if GM wanted to focus on the preorders the system in place is so screwed up that they cant push the preorders thru. There is a ton of folks that ordered in October still at 1100 and GM has not even sent them thru pass one yet. It is bogus but that is the way its happening. I just get frustrated when someone walks in the door and two days later is already moved to 3000. But I am sure some others are frustrated cause mine has moved and I ordered two months after they did. I did have a better understanding in December how the priority number system worked which most in October did not. I do wish that it was a first in first out system but it was not set up that way.
