I did not get there until about 10am. I guess I missed you Ed. Big crowd and lots of nice cars. BMW's, Vetts, Jags, Porsches, Nissan GT-R, and 2 Ferraris. A ZL1 would have looked good mixed in that group.

Actually was at EAG earlier and drove my car next door to Schraders Cycle center where I sent the day reassembling a Harley engine. I must have just missed you. Shame, you could have seen the console wrap I did in my car.

If I don't travel to Atlanta this Saturday to pick up a pair of seats I'm up for breakfast and a ride to the Expo center.

Thanks for the offer D but I think I have it covered. I have a friend that works at a golf course with a tire machine and some extra helping hands. What takes so long is torquing the 120 bead lock bolts down three different times. But with the extra help it shouldn't be as bad as the first time.

Thanks again for the offer it is very appreciated.

Coolant Leak

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Check your 2010 6.2L oil cooler line where it goes into the block on the driver's side. I've had a small coolant leak for about a year now, which is usually just one orange drop on the floor. Finally took it back to the dealer and found that there is a TSB out for this problem that is really hard to believe - they crossthreaded the fitting into the block at the factory! The remedy is to order a new fitting and a tap to clean out the threads (28mm, I think). The fitting installation at the factory must've been done robotically because it's hard to believe GM would have somebody that stupid on the assembly line doing crap like that. My car goes back for the remedy on Friday morning, and I hope they get it right this time....

Hope to see some of you guys at Cabin Fever on Saturday evening. I'll be with my friends with the '69 Camaros, so come on by. Went by the Cars & Coffee deal last Saturday, and there were some nice cars. Finally saw a Challenger there that was done right and didn't have 6" of air space between the tires and the fenders.

Camaro5Fest 2013

They announced that the host hotel this year (Aug 1, 2 & 3) is the Wyndham by the airport (same as last year). $90 per night, and the number is 877-361-4511. Be sure to mention Camaro5 to get the group rate.

I saw coolant one time on the floor, a few drips, but just the once. Can you get the TSB # when you get yours fixed. Not sure a dealer will do anything for mine, 3 year warranty ran out last March. Worth trying though.

It's part of the power train I would guess, may be covered under the 5 year 100,000 mile part of the warranty.

Looks like most every body is busy this weekend. Maybe we can pick another time to get together and tell a few lies. I may go ahead and put my car in the show this weekend. I have to help work a both for East TN Camaro Club also.
