FM radio. Configure to odds and even numbers.

I've just bought a 2011 2SS here in New Zealand. The FM tuner changes the Hz by .2 and is always an odd number. As luck would have it none of our local stations end in odd's.
I'm not hopeful but is there a way to change it so it increases by .1 instead? 90.8 sounds awful on 90.7 or 90.9.

Well this isn't sounding very encouraging. I guess it's as I thought so are the aftermarket radios that are getting installed like the pioneers, kenwoods, etc able to be tuned in FM to both odd and even numbers? i.e 97.2, 98.0, 93.7, etc

Surely some one has installed an aftermarket radio??????
Are these radios able to be tuned .1 at a time? Or are they all moving up in odd numbers like factory?

Try using an American radio in Japan. In US, the range is 88-108. In Japan, it is 80-100. Lots of overlap but missing 8 on either end.

Our FM range here is 87.5 to 108.0 but we can tune in 0.1 steps.
All I want to know is can the aftermarket radios be tuned in 0.1 steps or do they tune, like the factory radio, in 0.2 steps but always in odd numbers?

The thing is there's no point updating the radio if I end up with the same issue.

Thanks guys.

How hard is this question? Come on guys it pretty simple.
When you tune your FM stations do the numbers go up in 0.1 or 0.2 at a time?

ie. 98.0 to 98.1 to 98.2 then 98.3 then 98.4 etc etc?

Does it still jump in .2 increments when you use the scan or seek feature instead of manual tuning? Just curious....

Yes it won't pick up anything ending in an even number during a scan.
Other parts of NZ have stations with odd numbers but no such luck where I live.
So you're saying all the USA radios including aftermarket ones all tune to odd numbers and can't be configured otherwise? That's a right PITA.
Thanks for your reply.
