4 mos & 6k miles ...what took you so long? My first mod was at 43 miles when I put in the skip shift eliminator. Two weeks later it was the Hurst short shifter. In the past two weeks I put in the CAI , like you I studied and studied and wwnt thru a dry run so I knew what to expect, glad I did because I stumbled across of few things that I new how to address in the actual install.

If you think the CAI made a differnce, make sure you set your fuel table to the high octane table by resetting its fuses ( see numerous writeups on the forum for this 15 sec mod ... giddyup) and install a ported thortasl body ( more GIDDYUP than the CAI).

Great story. CAI was my first mod too. Now you need to get exhaust and really make it growl!

I've read hundreds of posts on here before; yours however, takes the cake. You sound like a professional writer. Are you? Enjoy that intake sound, I never get tired of hearing mine.

This just made me all excited for mine to come in Just picked my 2013 up on Friday and have only left it to sleep so far. Did yours require a tune? or just a straight blot-on?

No tune required but a tune would increase the gains. Bolt it on and GO!

Nice story bro, now even more I am looking forward to my move back to Vegas, lol. I used to take my Monte Carlo back behind the speedway just passed Nellis Aur Force base and just open it up. Cant wait to get my Camaro out there, maybe we can hook up once in a while for a couple of cold ones. Im looking at the North Las Vegas area for a house to buy. When I get into town I will PM you.

Great review. Exhaust and CAI and ported throttle body wake this car up and she never wants to go in the garage anymore.
