I must say, this thread drew me in and I read it all the way through. The fun thing about today's internet is that hiding isn't as easy as it used to be.
Case in point: one of the links that somebody provided to one of evilcamaro's threads was interesting. There were three photos: one under-hood shot, one under-car shot, and one turbo closeup. Not sure how many know this, but you can search Google for like photos. Just drag it into the search field and it'll scan the web for them. That said, those photos appeared in no less than 7 forums; one was posted in 2010. LOL. Okay. Busted. I feel for the OP and for our C5 mod. Why businesses choose to operate this way puzzles me. The internet can be great for a business, or the death of it. The fact that the guy (JR) thinks that people can't identify the similarities in posts under different screen names cracks me up. As a bystander, it's clear as day. The only business Granatelli will see will come from the uninformed. Any logical, web-savvy person that buys from this crook is simply asking for it. My $.02...If this "soslow" guy is JR, all the better, so what?...lol.. It's threads like this that make me glad I haven't sunk a ton of money into the performance thing...The risk vs. gain just doesn't seem worth it, no matter who does the work... I will say this though, as far as who's fake and all that...Tom D and the Ventura boys have some sweet rides, I've seen them...If they say they've had good luck with Granatelli, I'd believe them....They're no dummies or yes-men... Just my input...no biggie...Good luck to the OP....carry on... |

Yep. I have read a bunch of threads like this over the years... and it's precisely why I do all of my own work. I even hang around at the tire shop and watch them to make sure they don't go joyriding in my car. People suck. That's all there is to it.

BBB isn't the greatest feedback anymore. I watched a special on 20/20 about BBB and there was instances that if a company doesn't pay they didn't give them a grade they deserve and vice versa. heres a link check it out.
