tag... could you do me a small favor?

record the exhaust again... only put the camera under the car forward of the mufflers. (like under the IRS or just behind it).

I got a theory/experiment I'm working on.

You mentioned a dyno? You have the numbers? Even w/o the tune?

"Not a single problem what-so-ever. They fit wonderfully. I have a TON of room under the hood...steering shaft is way clear of the headers...plenty of room from the ground (it's NOT like the 4th gens sitting way down low). It's been great. No rubbing. No rattling. No clearance issues. ...and have you looked under the hood of a 5th Gen yet? TONS of room!!!"

Thanks so much this makes me feel so much better! I actually have my 5th gen now with just under 600 miles and lovin it! Your car sound is just what i am looking for and in my opinion the best i have heard so far. Thanks for your help now i just need to order.

Check my journal on the fist page. I have all the numbers posted. However, it was a Mustang dyno...not a dynojet. I'm going to dynojet it once I have the CAI added. The numbers, we all believe, are a littttttle off for the first dyno.

No prob. That's what I'm here for! I should be getting video soon of the other mufflers once they come in.

Spike, I'll get video tomorrow of the mufflers a little closer up for you.

We are going to put on some quieter mufflers to see how they work. We might even go with the quietest chambered system since it is REALLY loud.
Any word on the chambered mufflers? I'm looking at a complete system and can't afford to experiment with multiple combinations. I like to sound, but don't want the "loudness". Especially with neighbors and drawing attention on roads when you tap the gas. Hopefully, the chambered just softens the loudness.

I already get singled out by laser guns with my cat-back exhaust on my older vehicle. Can tell when my "Blinder/K40 defuser" combo" goes off... (Not even speeding with cars around me)

Chambered should be the quietest of the group. I know EXACTLY what you mean about tapping the gas and being singled out. That is why I am looking at the quieter mufflers. Chambered would probably be the best bet for the quietest out there on the market.

I will have video of the current set up tomorrow at the track.

I hope to get the new set of mufflers in tomorrow so we can change them out while at the track and get double the video. But, we might have to wait. We'll see.
