IOM is making a comeback in my battle of the Colors

They had a decked out IOM 2SS/RS with 21 in. wheels and ground effects at the Classic Grapevine enveiling today. I know it look reddish, but this is what it really looked like due to a cloudy day AND being under the dealership roof.
The last one is the IOM 2SS that was auctioned and Scott giving a speach.

Yeah I think you people that have already gotten your IOM cars owe it to the rest of us to go somewhere cool or beautiful and take some really nice shots of the car in at least 1920 x 1200 resolution that the rest of us can use as desktop pictures while we wait.

Look at her...she must've been hired to make sure nobody goes near it. She looks like she's ready to tear someone up

I have not seen an IOM yet with my own eyes ..So yesterday I mixed up the color myself and sprayed a miniture Hood with the IOM color and for the hell of it I put a couple of Shiney Stripes down the middle as well...Cause I think thats the route I am gonna go ..IOM with Gloss Black stripes painted on ...
Anyways the Panal was baked in the booth last night and I will be able to take some pictures of it today and I will post it up

Very interesting color.

Looks very different under different lighting conditions - but very distinctive
I was planning to get SIM and started wavering after seeing the big event in Texas with 50 IOM cars - and after seeing it "in the metal" today I really think that IOM with the matching interior is a pretty killer combination.
Its a bit "in your face" but not as overwhelmingly "ORANGE" as I expected

6th May event at Hendrick in Cary had an IOM SS with Ground effects and 21" wheels (and was very nicely run event !)

Yes this is silly - but made me smile
After looking at the IOM car yesterday - my youngest daughter decided that she recognized the color and engine type on the breakfast table.

Thats the surrounds on the ground effect apertures - they are lined inside with metal to prevent plastic being burned - you still have round pipes in the center

I know that, but if you look in the cut outs it looks like the 4inch GMPP exhaust as opposed to the normal SS exhaust.

Gotcha - sorry - I was wondering same when looking at the car - seemed larger than I expected from other pics . Will check with dealer. If it was the GM performance system it sounded far quieter than I would have expected when it was driven hard away from dealer.

I was there at the Cary unveiling also, and got a test drive! What can say but AWESOME! I've got to admit, I've switched colors a few times before going with Black and never really considered IOM thinking is was a little loud for my taste, but it is amazing in person. Here are a few more pics to drool over.

Still waiting on delivery of my Black/Black 2SS/RS, 20" polished, sunroof.
